Grini’s Bakery is considered one of the oldest family-owned Dominican bakeries in the Tri-state area thanks to founder, Grinilda Marrerro (“Grini”).
Grini immigrated to the United States from Dominican Republic in the 1960’s. As a way to make ends meet, she picked up baking and began learning how to make cakes. Little did she know, her hobby would turn into her greatest passion and people’s choice of dessert.
From baking and selling cakes from her garage in the 90’s to now a brick and mortar store in Paterson, New Jersey, Grini has created an undeniable legacy.
Almost 30 years later, Grini’s Bakery is still thriving and growing thanks to our loyal and everyday new customers. Thank you for choosing us and continuing our family legacy!
